Smoking Cessation
I have a particular interest in addiction which has gradually developed over the years, particularly in regards to smoking, as this is something I struggled with for many years. I had countless attempts and many relapses before eventually managing to stop.
I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without smoking, it was part of my identity and my coping strategy for managing the stress in my job and my the process of just existing as strange as that may potentially sound. My whole routine revolved around my next cigarette, and was a non negotiable, to the point that I would leave airports entirely if necessary. How would I have my morning Coffee without one. How could I socialise with friends without climbing with walls with cravings. Over the years I had convinced myself that it was serving such a positive purpose in my life, despite the clear health implications that I just couldn’t give It up.
Which it was doing in some ways, but ultimately I lacked the belief that I had the capacity to navigate the initial withdrawals. so I was just regularly in the cycle of quitting, which would then lead to relapsing within mostly very short periods of time. I was normally a cigarette an hour person, so as that time came around the voice in my head would be deconstructing all the reasons why I had initially made the decision to stop, and then before I knew It I was back to it, with an urge to almost make up for lost time.
I didn’t actually use Hypnotherapy to stop smoking myself, but I have been doing personal therapy which provided me with the foundation to make a lot of changes in my life, one of which was stopping smoking.
It's amazing how changing one aspect of your life can have such a positive ripple effect, not only for your health but probably more importantly the perception of myself. So with that awareness I have spent time formulating a stop smoking protocol which builds on the traditional format, I truly believe in the effectiveness of this but I am currently in the process of building this evidence.
So with that I am offering a reduced rate for this stop smoking/vaping sessions (90minutes) along with a three package deal which builds on the initial session with further exploration of the foundation of why you may have been addicted to this behaviour in the first place.
In exchange for this I would be looking to gather some information about how you personally found the sessions so I can build and alter things if necessary moving forward.
If this sounds interesting and you're ready to make the change, feel free to reach out for a chat.
